Constitution Day Debates | School of Communication Studies | SIU

Each year, the Morris Library hosts the SIU debate team for an exhibition debate to celebrate Constitution Day. In each of these debates, the team argues a topic related to one of the amendments to the Constitution; in 2015, the team discussed the 5th Amendment particularly as it pertains to the practices of civil asset forfeiture and indefinite detention by law enforcement officials.
